Director Anne Svejgaard Lund and producer Nikkie Breinholt Dahm has founded Dune Productions AS in 2021 - Northern Denmark’s first movie company, located in Løkken.
Most of the Danish film industry is based in Copenhagen or Århus, but instead of looking for creatives there - they wanted to use a local designer, to create the movie poster and various movie graphics such as the animated title and end credits.
Anne Svejgaard Lund, had a clear idea about what she wanted to tell with the poster, but also wanted me to have creative freedom and bring my own ideas to the table. This meant that the early process was focused on discussions of the movie, feelings, and moods around it - and how to transcend this into a poster. They asked for a poster, that did not use frames from the movie, but instead kept it completely illustrated and hand-drawn.
