Medvind is located at the industrial harbour of Hanstholm, Denmark - perfectly placed in an industrial environment close by the sea, and right next to the harbours fish auction. They want to give you an authentic dining experience - with a menu changing daily depending on what the fishermen brings in, and what green is currently in season from their farmer.

They describe their food as simple, honest and real - and Emilie Kjærgaard the owner, wants to inspire people to eat locally, better and greener - with a closer bond between farmer and consumer. A mission very relatable to myself and my own practice.
